A wardrobe is opened ten thousand times. The hinge and the runner are the part of the furniture you'll actually touch, so we don't economise on them. We fit Blum.
Their soft-close hinges and drawer runners are the ones you find in the kitchens people remember, and there's no mystery to why: the door settles shut on its own, the drawer glides on a full load, and it does the same on the last day as the first.
Fitted furniture is only as good as its hinges. Ours are the ones the trade specifies for itself.
Why it matters in the workshop.
Hardware that's the same every time is hardware we can set up once and trust. Blum's hinges and runners drill to their own templates, take the same settings on every cabinet, and adjust without tools on site — which is why our fitters finish a room in a day and don't come back for a rattle.
Questions we're asked
Why not cheaper hinges?
Because the hinge is the part you use every day, and the part that fails first on cheap furniture. A door that drops or a drawer that sticks is the whole piece feeling wrong. We'd rather fit the parts that last the life of the furniture.
